Candy
Artistry The origin of candy artistry dates back over 250 years, in
the EDO Era. Candy artists were originally the stars of citizen entertainers on
street corners and local folk festivals. Candy artists create animals and
flowers with soft rice dough, very much like taffy. The Dynasty’s “street corner” is actually deck 14 by the Cri-kee pool
where kids can watch candy treats take shape before their eyes, and then eat
them! T’ai
Chi Class T’ai
Chi Ch’uan is considered a soft style martial art based on the system
originally taught by the Chen family to the Yang family starting in 1820. It is often promoted
and practiced as a
martial arts therapy for the purpose of health and longevity. Variation of T’ai
Chi’s basic training
forms are well known as the slow motion routines that groups of people practice
every morning in parks across China and other parts of the world. Join T’ai
Chi teachers on Deck 14 near the Oasis pool every morning for a stimulating one hour session.
